High up in the clouds, eye level with the majestic mountain ranges surrounding Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu, you will find the "Hermit's Secret" - or as it is known in Maori - Muna Moke. This three bedroom house, perched among pine forest and native bush takes its name from being in one of Queenstown's premium locations - just off the scenic road from Queenstown to Glenorchy, and only ten minutes from the main town centre, Muna Moke is a secret that is worth keeping.

With stunning views over Lake Wakatipu, all the way out to the famous "Remarkables" mountain ranges, the entire house is positioned to enjoy the ever-changing vista from sunrise to sunset. Muna Moke's spacious deck at the back of the house is an ideal spot from which to watch the clouds go by, or spy on the many boats crossing along Lake Wakatipu. The deck is furnished with an eight-seater outdoor setting, the perfect place for outdoor dinners, or a glass of wine as the sun sets behind the mountains.

The expansive, open plan living and dining areas face towards the deck, and are surrounded by French doors and tall windows on every side of the house. The lounge centres around the stone fireplace, and together with the sunny reading nook by the north-facing windows makes a cozy place to retreat during a snowy Queenstown winter. The house has underfloor heating, meaning that if you want to venture away from your cosy nook in the lounge, you will still be warm and comfortable.

The kitchen adjoins the lounge, and comes fully equipped with everything you could wish for during your stay at Muna Moke. Whether you are cooking for friends or catering for your family, you will find everything you need to guarantee successful meal times. Rice cooker also available. Framed by the incredible views, the dining room revolves around the ten-seater oak dining table, inviting the family to gather for dining, or playing one of the board games that are provided at the house. If board games are not your thing, you can choose to relax by watching TV, either in the lounge, where you will find a large flat screen TV equipped with satellite TV and DVD player, or else the TV in the master bedroom. You will find the master bedroom a haven in itself - located as the only room on the top floor of the house, the bedroom has a stately four-post King-sized bed, ample storage, as well as a private balcony which captures the sweeping lake and mountain views.

Downstairs is another large bedroom with a Queen sized bed and large built-in wardrobe - this bedroom also faces out towards the lake and features the same changing landscape you can see from the dining room. The third bedroom is at the front of the house and has two-king sized single beds, and views out to the side of the house.

The downstairs bathroom features a luxurious, deep bath that is surrounded by windows showcasing yet more views, as well as a separate, spacious shower, and a modern bathroom sink. There is also a separate toilet, as well as another room for the laundry, complete with washing machine and dryer.

The house comes with complimentary WiFi, and you will also find a selection of children's toys for those little guests.
